HELPFUL INFORMATION:
The pictures on our website and brochure are of previous sales that can be replicated or adjusted to suit each customer’s individual needs.
All of our traditional ‘Georgian’ and contemporary ‘classic range’ of windows and doors are manufactured from top quality, slow-grown redwood timber.
Our standard sizes are quite extensive. However, we can cater for special requirements, but please allow up to a month, especially in peak times, and obviously, at a small additional fee.
Where our factory fitted doors and windows are used, sometimes they may appear a slightly different shade to the buildings treated cladding, but this will weather in time.
All buildings come fully glazed in 6.4 mm laminate glass (heavier grade can be supplied if required).
All of our buildings are made from slow-grown, heavy-duty Scandinavian pine. We never use ply or chipboard (unless a customer stipulates its use).
We always use the appropriate uprights in our framework (at least every 600mm), for maximum strength and all of our floors have a tanalised spar every 300mm which greatly reduces unwanted bounce and enables plenty of weight to be safely distributed within the sanctuary of your completed building space.
The roof and floor are cladded out of 12mm tongue and groove.
The roof is covered in top quality polyester roofing, green mineral felt which has a 15 year life expectancy. We recommend the use of felt shingles on some of our buildings (which come in numerous colours and at an extra cost).
We also stock Onduline and Coroline bitumen roofing sheets.
However, if you have something else in mind, please don’t hesitate to ask our helpful staff.
All of the outer cladding is treated with at least two coats of creocote. Or if so desired, for an additional cost, with Cuprinol, 5-year preservation paint, which we give at least 4 thorough applications, in the colour of your choosing.
The treatment process can very occasionally result in some colour variation or drying marks, this does not affect the performance of the treatment, and normally weathers-in within a short period of time.
All of our buildings are made to order so please allow adequate time when ordering, especially, if you require your building for a specific date.
Our busiest seasons are spring and summer so please allow extra time during this period. Discounts are available throughout the winter months (November to February).
Work on your building will only commence once the final design has been agreed and a 20% deposit has been gratefully received.
Please remember that wood is a natural product and under severe weather conditions may be susceptible to changes in appearance, including some warping and splitting.
All buildings are approximate and based on external measurements. They do not include roof overhang where applicable. Please be mindful of this when ordering your building. Also take into account the space required for installation and maintenance.
We advise that you check internal sizes if purchasing your new building for a specific purpose.
Planning permission can sometimes be required on certain buildings depending on size and location. It is the customers responsibility to check with the local council. We cannot be held responsible if the customer fails in this matter.
At Sanctuary Found (kennels, cabins and summer rooms) we are constantly looking for ways to improve our products so, we therefore reserve the right to alter specification at our discretion.

Any additional costs will be agreed before delivery commences.
Conditions of sale:
• It is the customers responsibility to have a level base ready for installation.
• No responsibility can be taken by our company if the customers base is not level or square.
• Any work required to rectify the customers prepared base will be charged for.
• A small handling fee will be charged if the base is not easily accessible.
• It is the customers responsibility to notify our company about any overhead obstructions (i.e. Cables, lean-to’s, archways or covered walkways etc). There will be a charge if our
company hasn’t been notified before delivery.
• If we arrive at a prearranged date with delivery and the customer isn’t in, there will be a re-delivery charge.
Our buildings are supplied with a standard 12 months guarantee against faulty parts and labour.
We recommend that you check that your building is covered by your household insurance in case of storm damage etc.
